Hello Everyone!

This is the beginning of a new season in my life - the season of Marriage! And I thought it appropriate to begin a new blog. I love writing so much I only wish I had more time to do it!

But until God brings along a job for me, I will have time! So hopefully this blog won't just sit here unused and feeling unwanted. :)

I am looking for a job here in Bellingham, WA. I have two different child care jobs I am looking into as well as 16 applications and resumes out in the public area! Costco, Macy's, Kohls, Big 5, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Maurices, Boston Pizza, Bigfoot Java, Brewed Awakening, Applebee's, just to name a few! Prayers for a job would be really apprieciated!

I am also studying for a 6 credit Humanities test for some time in October. This is a huge test that covers a huge range of subjects, and I am trying to complete it in less than a month with studying for my math test on top of that. Of course all of this with trying to find and make new friends, get connected into a new home church, and spend time with my husband! :) I'd rather just do that most the time than any of the other things, but life is living, I'd better start catching up!

I did go to a CORE last Monday night; CORE is a small group of girls branching off of CCF (Campus Christian Fellowship) of Western which mets on Friday nights. There are many different CORE's for guys and girls all around campus on different nights of the week. Cortland is in one that meets on Tuesday nights, and I'm going to one full of girls who live off campus - south side like us. Monday night there were 20 girls there! That was exciting, and everyone seemed really nice. Most of them are older than I am, single, a student at WWU and graduating either this year or next... so that's a bit discouraging seeing as most of them will be gone soon, and I'm so different. But I'm praying I can be some sort of asset to the group while I'm there. :)

Hillcrest this Sunday was good! I know anywhere will feel different and uncomfortable for a while coming from a home church for 11+ years! But both Cortland and I are willing to be where ever God wants us and directs us. This Sunday I believe we're going to visit Christ the King church up in Bellis Fair exit. That is exciting! :) Scott and Becca are going with us as well. :)

Hopefully the video uploads so I can post the walk-through of our little apartment here. :) I like it a lot - it's cozy and homey. Although everything here is so different, and I don't know many people, everything has been comfortable and easy it seems. :) I'd love to make some friends and get plugged into a church and a job, but besides that, everything is nice and going well. :)

God is good of course and He's blessing Cortland and I every day!
